33 fl oz bottle into a snifter at an Italian restaurant in Toulouse, FR.
Fair enough foam on yellow gold brew.
Nose is malty with distant citrus struggling to break through.
Taste is too malt forward and crackery to let the mysyery hops shine through. OK bitterness reminds me of a pilsner. Finishes lightly sweet, dry, acidy. There is a doughy sediment resting in the bottom of the bottle.
Mouth is heavier than medium, medium carbonation.
Overall, it’s a pasta rinse, that’s about all.

Genova 24/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Doro Supermarket, Piazza di Soziglia Genova. Simple Black label with than name of the beer in green.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet malty odor mingling with tart and sourish scent of citrus fruit and grains. Sweet pale malts and caramel. Mustard. Lemon.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a mild sweetness followed by a stronger, sharp citric bitterness. A little rough. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Sharp Indian Pale Ale with a rough bite.
