Birra Flea / Flea Società Agricola a r.l. “Storie di Malto Bionda”
33 cl brown glass bottle coded “da consumarsi preferibilimente entro il/lotto: 20 01 27”. Sampled on 23 11 25.
€4,50 @ Caffe Aurora, Brisighella, IT
Notes via stream of consciousness: Nice looking bottle and label. A lightly hazy golden body (it's unfiltered and bottle conditioned) is capped by a thumb's width of white foam that seems to be holding well. It's grainy-sweet in the nose with some apple-like fruitiness. The flavor follows with some additional grassiness. It's got a moderate to median bitterness level and finishes mainly dry and short-lingering with some malt and fruit left behind. There's some decent lacing left behind on the glass. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp with a fine-bubbled natural carbonation due to bottle conditioning. All in all it's a well-brewed, nicely balanced, and enjoyable blonde ale.
