A clear burnt gold body, becoming lighter gold towards the bottom, forms only a thin, fine off-white sheet of head.
A unique toastiness, perhaps from the oak, meets bright grape and dill with a light malt that cleans it up before becoming fairly tart. The exhale brings back lees and white wine in spades without any potency of heat or acid. There's even a touch of buttery wine characteristics.
I honestly found this to be better than the Russian River's Sauvignon Blanc Intinction we enjoyed only two days prior.
