Mostly clear acorn reddish-brown with a tall khaki foam head that condenses and retains well.
One of the most unique beers I've had in a minute, I'm having trouble finding words to describe it. It's almost got a tripel bite to it, but a bit bolder, and also woodier, somewhat like cedar, but not.
It also has a little more maltiness, between caramel, toffee and leafiness, but without being heavy on the palate, because it's so insanely pillowy light that it's qauffable as all hell.
After time, it develops a little more brightness, like a faint hint of passion fruit pungency, while also perhaps exhaling a mild tone of dark honey sweetness.

Poured into a Belgian tulip glass. Bright orange with nice one finger head. Notes of sweetness from the smell, but not as much in the taste from beers with honey. More ale than honey. Fresh and earthy (like a lot of Mad Fritz beers).
