Pretty thoroughly hazy maize with a tall head of dense off-white foam.
It's unreal to me how much like a saison--and a well done one at that--this is in execution. Again it's another Mad Fritz that reminds me of Jester King. It has a little grassy, herbal bitterness meeting a mildly spicy phenol with such a dense yet light and airy foam that finishes bone dry.
The fig mostly expresses on the nose, lightly floral and bright, while countered by a hint of brie that yet comes fairly shy of funky oak.
