Pouring light brown and mostly clear, it actually fills to dark brown, nearing burnt red, while fogging up quite a bit and building a craggy khaki foam head.
Giving leafy, nutty autumnal vibes at first, a hint of brown toast then leads into slightly brighter hopping, like orange pith with a hint of resin and a touch of grassiness. The exhale brings us back to brown toast, with a suggestion of cigar and bitter char.
The feel here is several steps crisper and lighter than much of their stock, yet it's plenty full of malt flavors to make up for it.
