HBC 638 hops from Yakima, WA. This new hop variety is a unique Centennial like hop although we find it citrusy and melon driven with floral notes. A west coast platform with 7.4% ABV and 84 IBUs.

Kind of a dull, unpolished burnt gold with a tall, gently puffy white head.
More in the mixed culture realm than the Zodiac Rakau I had on site, it gives wild herb and bitter heart of romaine vibes with a twinge of allium before maybe a hint of Corn Pops.
Bone dry after a soft but mild froth, I'm loving it, but not as an IPA. Nay, it's a deft saison.
