Magenta clean pour. Aromas of black currant with jammy accents, funk, oak, and a kiss of lacto, very full with the fruit. Taste is right there with the nose, hints of berry and lemon slightly contrast the sour and slightly acidic currant, oak backs. Clean, sour and lightly acidic, oak is omnipresent but not a driver. Really nice meerts, one of my favorites in the series

On draft. Minitumbler. Darker reddish body, light reddish-pink head. Good retention. Smell is classic currant flavours, moderate acetic acidity, very light oak, more currant skin. Flavour follows. Plenty of currant tartness, light lemon, moderate acetic acidity, but not as sour as could be. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, slightly dry, plenty of currant skin on the finish. A nicely executed fruited wild, easy to enjoy.
