After three months of fermentation in our 40hL French oak foeders, we refermented Meerts on over 2 lbs/gal of purple and red plums for an additional six weeks prior to packaging.

Taproom, draft. Mini-tumbler glass. Pulpy light purple body, looks like one of these homemade fruit juices made in a food processor/blender. Not particularly appealing. Smell is tart, bright stonefruit and lemon, touch of oaky leather. Not much more than that, but very fruit-forward. Flavour is a slightly different beast. Moderate lemony tartness, sweeter stonefruit character, with an odd finish. Perhaps chalky, but either way it is a bit astringent and leaves a dry finish. Not sure what compound came out of the fermentation for this, but it could possibly benefit from a little time to settle.
