Shimmering clear fossilized amber with nary a head as it instantly vanishes after the pour. Still, it's beautiful.
A hint of cedar on the intake exhibits a woodiness that is more like a humidor than I'd expected, but that recedes quickly into a sourness that is slightly briney yet white winey. The fruit here has a mild, uniquely herbal presence, while the yeast seems to be adding a peach balsamic glaze note to it.
The slick light body has a crisp fine fizz that cuts to a semi-dry, slightly stinging finish. As tends to continue to be the case, Funk Factory's acidity is still a bit overboard for me.
