Served in a snifter from an aluminum growler filled at Beer on the Wall - Arlington Heights.
Been a while since I strolled along with the Funk from the Factory, figured it'd be a good idea to share some with the brewing crew. This stuff pours a slightly cloudy sunset brass-amber topped by a half-finger or so of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises tart pineapple, lemon zest, a twinge of acetyl alcohol, and a touch of varnished wood. The taste leans into the pineapple and blood orange, a good amount of sourness throughout, and there's a small vein of relatively sweet coconut running through things. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a sticky finish. Overall, a nice bit of sour; can't speak to how it conforms to the Painkiller that it's modelled after, having never had one myself, but it's enjoyable nonetheless.

Cloudy golden body. Pina colada flavors come through but not obnoxiously so. Mild coconut sweetness intermingles with the pineapple sweetness, which is adequately offset by a moderate acetic bite and mild orange fruit and a bit of zest. Light-med bodied.
