Collaboration with Forager Brewery
Framnoir is a 1, 2, and 3 year-old Méthode Traditionnelle (MT) beer aged on 200 lbs of purple and black raspberries from a local WI berry farm, as well as 60 lbs of wild raspberries collected by our friends at Forager Brewery in the woods of Minnesota. The combination of our favorite jammy raspberry varieties and the tart, earthy, foraged blackberries give this collaboration an intensely complex fruit character that sets it apart from our previous fruited beers. After eight months of bottle conditioning, it is finally ready for release, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Reddish purple body, no head. Super jammy and slightly acidic raspberry with supporting vinous and currant in taste with light funk and oak. Smell is more balanced and just better. Feel is tart more than anything, light funkiness and acidity accent, medium bodied. Perhaps not the most nuanced in the series, but the flavorings are very pure and potent.

750ml bottle. Corked and caged. No dating information found. Collaboration with Forager Brewery.
Deep purple brown colored body. Brief pink, fizzy head quickly disappears. No lacing.
Aroma is very expressive, with berry fruit, and leather/tobacco funk.
Taste is very vinous (red), with raspberry and blackberry flavors. Pungent funk - horse blanket and leather. Very dry finish.
Medium mouth feel, slightly sticky. Has the ability to tooth scrape. Bone dry. Good carbonation.
Very similar to a dry merlot, but with some carbonation. The berry fruit really express the effects of fermentation, which results in more tartness.
