This Blonde Ale is one of our first, and most signature beers. This no-nonsense Golden Ale is always a hit, with a delicious malty honey-oat body, citrusy hops and a crisp, lightly bitter spicy finish. It’s a recipe that has, and will continue to, stand the test of time.
Fabulous with white fish, shellfish, BBQ chicken or food from the Mediterranean, but equally as enjoyable on its own.
Ingredients: Water, Malted Barley, Hops, Yeast
Allergens: Malted Barley

Quite enjoyed this. Nothing special about the pour, it's dark amber and flat enough. Smell is neither strong or complex. But taste delivers! Strong, malty bready goodness. Punchy and sweet biscuity goodness! A nice surprise.

short review, had it a few hours ago, a yawn of a beer, looked poor, clear dark amber colour, no head at all, sweet fruit flavours dominate the nose, nice enough malt character, white bread, biscuit and caramel, some orange, pretty sweet, moderate bitterness on the finish, drinkable enough but quite dull.

Label has now changed to Drumlin Irish Blonde Ale. Still 4.3%. Best head and lacing that I have seen for a while. Bottle conditioned but very little sediment. Malty not always my favourite but I enjoyed it.
