16.9 ounce (500 ml) gold wax capped bottle, date stamp is blank on the label. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. The brew smells like roasted malt, dark fruit, vanilla, dark chocolate and some whiskey. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some licorice, oak and coffee flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's creamy and a bit slick with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one, definitely worth picking up if you get the chance. I know I wouldn't mind getting another bottle the next time I see it!
