Bicycle Craft Brewery

A small craft brewery with a big presence on the local scene. This is not a place to bring a hot date, but is a place to go for low key relaxing chill time. Theire beers rate from okay to really really good. Prices are in keeping with the rest of the local craft breweries. Small selection of to-go cans. I will be back.

 

Small brewery located in the middle of an industrial park in the East end of Ottawa. Couple of handles you can sample from. Staffs are pretty knowledgeable and growlers are available at a reasonable price. Parking is easy to find.

 

Not unlike many of Ottawa's breweries, Bicycle Craft Brewery is hidden in an industrial park, this one in Ottawa's east end. The establishment is small, but clean. There are several tables for patrons to enjoy their pints and have a chat, and there is a very nice display of the swag available for sale. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when I was in, and they offered up samples of everything available on tap. Growlers and half-growlers are available, and you can get a pint for a decent price. The samples I had ranged from fair to downright tasty.

 

 

Nice atmosphere on opening day, lots of people checking out the place. A bit of an industrial feel but some nice touches make the space work. Great selection available for tastings. Lots of growlers to take home and some really awesome swag, including a growler attachment for bicycles... so you can bike your beer home!
