Handsome auburn brown color with plenty of suds. Prickly carbonation on the tongue, but then smooth and silky mouthfeel. Malty but light bodied.
Some nut shell bitterness and a caramel, butterscotch touch. Walnuts and long bitterish aftertaste. Quite drinkable if you like a bitter edge to your Brown Ale. Brewery rates it at 30 IBUs. On tap at the brewery restaurant just north of Old Town.
