Dark orangey amber with a big foam in the tulip. Long nose of cedar and juniper. The smokey flavor is light but distinctive. I wouldn't call it a Rauchbier but the woodsy smoke does make for an interesting diversion.
Biscuity malt and a little of what I call the pleasing musty taste. LIght body but an interesting texture, like an oatmeal stout. Not much bitterness. IBUs are rated at only 18. On tap at the brewery restaurant in Albuquerque.
