I just visited the Red Door Brewery in Albuquerque for the first time. One of the beers I had was the Blackberry Hefeweizen, ABV 5.10%, which was interesting and different. It was slightly tart, but not too much. I've never had a berry flavored Hefeweizen before so I am not sure how it is viewed, or proper, but I thought it came out pretty good.
Look: hazy blood orange-red with a thin white head
Aroma: wheat crackers, banana, black berry
Taste: wheat, yeast, banana, and black berry, slightly tart.
Feel: light feel.
