Served from 5 litre mini-keg bought for me as a birthday present, at room / cellar temperature into a straight pint glass.
L) Very pale pilsner lager colour, a distinct haze, a few big bubbles and a 2cm frothy white head. Quite pleased that the mini keg hasn't given me a mountain of froth to deal with.
S) At first there is a distinct hydrogen sulphide eggy whiff, which is most unwelcome, but after a minute or two this has gone, to leave a mild grapefruit hop odour.
T) A fairly pleasant fruity hop bitterness, but a distinct biscuity malt base gives it a bit of a flat overall flavour. After half the pint I also notice a nice little hazelnut aftertaste too.
F) Pleasant mouthfeel, a bit of hop bitterness and pleasant carbonation from this mini-keg format. No dirty aftertastes.
O) Decent, but try a pint in the pub first before committing to buying a mini keg!
