On draft at Cerveteca, Lisbon.
Hazy pale amber with shaving cream foam. 3.75
Big floral, herbal, Amarillo orange blossom nose. 4
Thread of caramel, then solid orange hard candy and resin hops with a hint of cantaloupe. 4
Spiky little finish and humming nettle linger.
Lt-med, oily, round. 4
Big, bright, fresh hops - locals rule! Does just as well in bottles, where it’s got West Coast citrus aroma but powdery bitterness, too. Want to session this like it’s 4.3% rather than the unnecessarily high 6.5%. Lisbon is further along in the craft beer world than I’d have thought! 4.25

Smooth, good smell but a little light, nice unfiltered. If your in Portugal and need an IPA this one is pretty good. It's not Lagunitas Sucks or Pliny but it's good.

Poured into a small wine glass from a .33l bottle purchased at Arcaz Velho in the Alfama district of Libson, Portugal.
APPEARANCE – Lightly hazy, but mostly clear blood orange in color with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly with little to no lacing.
SMELL – Grassy, herbal hop aroma.
TASTE – Nice strong hop front that is quickly followed by a light sweetness that works well.
MOUTHFEEL – Medium body with light carbonation.
OVERALL – A good IPA -- very enjoyable and one that I'd enjoy again. Nice surprise to find a good IPA in the land of Sardine and Port Wine!
