Poured to a stemmed Sovina glass.
A: The body is light yellow crystalline showing some carbonation. The head is white, two finger thick, showing some retention and relatively good lacing.
S: The aroma is very citrusy and resinous, having a regular fruity APA aroma profile. There's also some malty backbone.
T: One thing that really jumps to your face is the wild bitterness on this beer and its hoppy profile. That's the pillar of this beer. Around, you can find some orange, lemon zest, resin, piney notes. The bitterness is interesting because it's not wickedly strong in the back of the mouth but just mild, showing only its powers after you swallow it.
M: The body is medium to medium low. Carbonation is medium to medium high. Bitterness is medium to medium high and the drying power is relatively low on the throat.
O: I'm very sad for seeing this beer only being brewed once. It could be so awesome to have it around all year. Hope these guys resurrect this beer.
