This offering is our homage to Dale Cooper and his hard work done on the Blue Rose case for the cult TV show "Twin Peaks". The Black Lodge is an 8.3% stout with Abacus coffee and sour cherry added after fermentation providing you with an insanely drinkable, big-boned beer that is great for breakfast, second breakfast and even, if you are disciplined, dessert.

Black body with dark tan foam, coarse bubbles dissipate quickly before leaving a skim and ring of lace with irregular edges.
Aroma is mild, some roasty coffee and brownie, hint of fruit but not distinctly cherry.
Taste has plenty of roast malt and coffee, lightly acidic dark cherry puree. Dry bakers chocolate.
Nice dry coffee stout with a hint of natural cherry, light to medium bodied, could be a little fuller/creamier.
Overall it tastes pretty good and is smooth for 8.3%. How's Annie?
