Galaxy and Motueka hops are the star of the show, but it’s the lactose sugar that elevates this beer to the gooey, gory stick of lupilin candy that it is.

750ml bottle from Tavour. Active bottle yields a milky golden pour, huge, towering fluffy head. Mild citrus aroma, grapefruit. Taste brings a smooth, creamy texture, light citrus notes. Lactose makes for a wonderful velvety feel.

Note: can was dated 3/5/19 maybe it was too old or oxidized. Barely had an aroma and the taste was just awful. Forced myself to drink half and then drain poured the rest... Sad times.

LOOK > Super thick and hazy - 2 finger head with nice bright white foam - nice lacing remains - milky
SMELL > Huge blast of Catty hops and Pine - slight skunk smell (not a beer that went bad type of skunky, but strong hop aroma) - slight funk and mango
TASTE > Not much on IBU side - only slight bitterness, but maybe it's because it gets overpowered by really sweet bread/caramel/malt - large amounts of cat-like hops, pine, pineapple, and mango - the sweetness tones down a bit and some more bready-caramel flavors surface
FEEL > Pretty thick / nearly a full bodied beer - stays active with bubbles/foam ring
OVERALL > This is a really good beer - I would call it a dessert IPA - very sweet and flavorful - not a beer I could do 2 or 3 in a row though - decent occasional drinker
