16 oz can into a shaker pint glass.
L: Pours a hazy dark dull yellow orange color with a pillowy 1" dull white frothy head that has a dormant volcano appearance, low carbo, medium-heavy chunky 3/4 around frothy lacing with some loose banding.
S: Pineapple, citrus, distant coconut. It is lightly tropical.
T: A cornucopia of fruits orchard and citrus, a sweet caramel malt flavor & lemon lime glide parallel to zest and resinous bitterness. It is very balanced.
F: Gently brisk then a semi-juicy medium-bodied mouthfeel with a medium-long drying finish that becomes soft with warming and then plush.
O: Generally zesty tasting with a semi-soft feel. It is very easy drinking and has lightly smacking lemon lime. More malts toasted with drinks yet more zesty when shipped. Beautifully balanced. It is excellent in its style.

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 06/17/24
My first from this brewery.
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, pineapple, grapefruit, mango, peach, melon, papaya, guava.), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, melon, papaya, guava), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very well, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty beer. MilkShake! Orange Julius! Addictive!

Pours a hazy yellow orange with a finger of foamy head that dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of pineapple and orange. Taste follows nose. Very nice.

Can. Murky, opaque yellow/orange in colour. Thin bubbly head.
Mixed tropical fruit and orange smell.
Assorted fruit juice upon tasting with some balancing malt thank goodness. Decent bittering at the back end.
Sparkling and chewy feel.
A bit OTT for me.

hard to miss pink can, my first from these guys, who i know basically nothing about, but seem modern and ambitious, this is quite good, although not as fresh as it could be to my tastes. its hazy but not gross or milky looking, holds a high white head, and has a little deeper color to it than many of these, but really not much of a crystal malt profile or anything, more wheaty to me than toasted barley, a good support structure for all these hops. a big double dry hop here leads to aromas and flavors of fresh sliced oranges, canned crushed pineapple, and wet lawn, some mosaic likely, not sure what else, but relatively distinctive to both senses and packing a little bitterness on the back end, nice for a hazy to have that element too. the fermentation profile is relatively clean but not totally invisible, a slight breadiness to it heavies the beer up some, but this is still pretty drinkable. it lingers on the palate some on the swallow, but its all real pleasant, slightly oily, never harsh, a little weedy to me. it has some trace oxidation coming in, i didnt see a date on the can, but if this were perfectly fresh i bet it would be incredible. a very solid introduction to these guys for me still though, thanks to my brother in law for hooking it up. ill keep my eye out for more from them...

Sampling an IPA tonight. Lightly chilled 12 oz can poured into my snifter.
THe beer pours a bright clear golden color with a huge fluffy eggshell white with a tint of lemon yellow. Head is easy 6 cm even with a gentle pour and I cant get the whole can in my glass....which has 22 oz capacity!
Aroma is hoppy with some orange notes, plus some lemon and a little mango. The foam is slowly fading with large craters and rocky surface, also leaves windowpane lattice on my glass. Lots of active streams of carbonation rise towards the surface.
The nose doesnt have a lot of malt balance, but isnt overly robust any direction.
The first sip reveals a medium body and smooth texture. The carbonation is tingly and very present making for a crisp mouthfeel overall.
the flavor is briefly sweet biscuity malt and then goes all citrus hops. I get a lot of orange and mango and The beer is pretty juicy overall, without any real bitterness. the finish is drying and encourages me to take another sip.
Overall a decent IPA with no flaws and interesting that it is much clearer than a lot of its contemporaries. Wish the foam had been a little more subtle on the pour. Id probably try this one again if I was in the area, or maybe one of the other beers in the astronaut line from Illuminated.

Look: pours a hazy yellow with a light layer of white head. Great looking beer
Smell: The citrus hits you almost immediately as your start pouring. I’m getting hints of pineapple, lemon, melon, grapefruit, and orange
Taste: The taste is a bit more subtle than the smell. Not in a disappointing way, but a bit unexpected. Definitely getting the citrus fruits again on the taste - mostly pineapple and orange, and there are some floral tastes here as well
Feel: pretty light to low-medium body here, easy to drink. Smooth, dry finish.
Overall a solid offering. Great IPA to have during the day while watching a football or hockey game.

Poured a cloudy pale white-orange body with great head and lace. The aroma struck me as a slightly sour pineapple juicy: slight sweet juice notes with acidic edge. Thicker, fuller body, mix of pineapple and almost a white grapefruit taste. Bitter, slightly sour finish, not too acidic or biting but definitely dry. Not a bad beer but a little cutting for my liking.

Normally I do not buy beer because of the gimmicky name or what is in the beer. Junior Astronaut Juice is an awesome name. I have high hopes for this beer, a double dry hop IPA, I would like to see a strong hop presence with a touch of astringency. The can does not have a birthdate, I hope it is not old, fingers crossed. I cracked open the beer and I did not get any significant aromas. The pour of the beer produced a one finger airy, foamy, and creamy with good retention. The color of the beer is bright white. The beer did leave a lot of lacing on the glass. SRM 6 is golden yellow with amber hues. The clarity of the beer is clear with a touch of haziness. The beer has a beautiful appearance.
The aromas in the beer are resin, pine, grapefruit, lemons, oranges, floral esters, a hint of bay leaves, grass, and toasted crackers.
The flavors in the beer are resin, pine, grapefruit, lemons, oranges, floral esters, herbal, hay, toasted crackers, melons, and hint eathiness.
The mouthfeel of the beer is dry and astringent.
The body of the beer is light, high carbonation, and medium-plus finish.
The dry hop in the gave the beer some character. I am craving depth in the beer from dry hopping. If you did not tell me this beer was dry hopped I could not tell. The pine, resin and grapefruit come through on the front then fades into citrus, floral, and herbal. Then the beer finishes dry. I was so hoping this beer to burst with hop flavors. I am disappointed with this beer. It is a solid IPA, I just wanted more depth of flavors.
