Pours a purple/red with mild translucence. A finger of purple/red bubbly head. The colors remind me of raspberry jam. The head dissipates quickly.
Nose is tart blueberry, cinnamon, and vanilla. No funk quite like a sour. Very mellow and mild on the nose.
Taste followd closely. Blueberry and cinnamon mesh so well here. The blueberry is sweet and smooth with only a mild tartness. Like berry that has been baked, rather than fresh. The cinnamon and vanilla combine to make a nice pie crust flavor profile.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The carb suits this brew quite well. Not too bubbly and lively. Which serves to separate itself from a sour.
This brew surprised me. I didn't think I was going to appreciate this as much as I did, but I'm glad it did come through strong. I don't know what a "White" Stout is but this seems to be a good introduction. This does remind me of a nice slice of pie. Well done.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 750 ml bottle on December 1, 2018. White stout brewed with blueberries, vanilla and cinnamon. This might be too sweet for some palates.

"White stout with blueberries, lactose, vanilla and cinnamon." Huge blueberry nose with faint cinnamon. Dark magenta pour with a thin cream head that slowly disappears. Tart blueberry skin up front, followed by biscuit bread, cinnamon and subtle vanilla. Medium texture with low carbonation. As advertised: It really does taste like blueberry pie. Tasty!
