Citra hopped India Pale Ale bridging the old world and new. Look for a potpourri of tropical, citrus, and herb hop character, balanced by restrained bitterness and a light biscuit toffee malt profile.

Off the bat, I have got to say that the reason I bought this beer was because of the can art. It is a pretty cool can and will make a lovely addition to the beer wall. The pour is a hazy golden orange. Leaves a 2 finger tall white head that dissipates quickly. The smell of sweet mandarin oranges, grapefruit, and a hint of pine on the end. The taste is subtle. Mostly sweet orange with the bitterness of the peel lingering on the back end. Maybe some hints of some tropical fruits there. And after reading the description (whether my mind is playing tricks or not) I can taste a smidgeon of the toffee on the back end but it is very barely noticeable. Sort of got a guava/passion fruit thing going on too if you really dive deep. But the flavors, again are subtle. Not bad but underwhelming. Overall okay beer. The can art is the best thing about this beer.

I dig the can art, very eye catching. The pour is a hazy orange color. The taste is grapefruit, pine resin, & mild orange. The taste is not as good as the can art imo. Cheers! B
