Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a brackish sienna topped by a finger of dirty off-white foam. The nose comprises toffee, raisins, mixed nuts, candied orange peel, and the occasional twinge of blackberry. The taste brings in more of the same, along with some mild berries and stone fruits making cameos every now and again. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. An interesting idea for a beer, though I'm not sure the berries/fruits truly meld with their surroundings, instead existing as island being hopped Nimitz- and MacArthur style throughout the drinking adventure.
