T2G IPA is a mid hazy, yellow amber colored IPA. The head is rocky, bone white, and lasting.
Bready, yeasty malt aromas provide support for very citrus oriented hop aromas. Hops are mostly ripe, Seville oranges combined with orange and grapefruit pith. I can practically feel them coating the roof of my mouth from here. Fresh earth lends structure and support, keeping the aroma from becoming one dimensional.
On the tongue, up front hops give my palate a solid smack in the gob. Flavors of orange, ripe pear, and grapefruit pith dominate in all their hoppy glory. Bready hops lend support with hints of yeast accentuating that bready softness. Hop profile builds relentlessly into an assertive, mouth coating bitterness.
T2G IPA is a very assertive, hop slam of an IPA. It has just enough gentle maltiness to lend structure and support in both the flavor and the nose. And yes, the hop profile is a very large smack in the gob, but that's what the profile on a good IPA ought to be,

From March 2019 - reviewed under T2E-IPA, which I do not believe is a thing.... or if it was not the one I had as I have the T2G-IPA label. Perhaps they moved into a different postal code zone??
Pours a murky hazy golden - almost a dingy brown highlight with a good finger of cream coloured head. Aroma is sweetly tropical - mango, ripe orange - just a hint of sweatiness at the back.
Taste starts quite sweet with strong citrus notes, tropical, and very nice piney hoppiness without overbearing bitterness.
Smooth fruity, slightly drying finish on medium carbonation . Very tasty.

Poured from a 473ml can. Canned on May 19/2019. Like the Postal code.
Super nice pour with a crazy nose.
A tasty hoppy IPA. Lots going on with this beer, off to look for more.

A hidden gem--one of Western Canada's best IPAs. It's got a touch of dank--I like to describe it like fruit from another planet. This beer is prone to oxidation issues, unfortunately (but also not surprisingly given the style). I've had one batch that was completely gone--it turned that telltale grey or purplish colour that's that hallmark of oxidation withthe volatile NEIPA style. That aside, if you find this beer on tap, order immediately. It's even brighter and better served that way. Big fan of this brew.

This batch is hitting much better. Cloudy, fruity on nose and tongue. Soft mouth feel, and nice bitter finish with just a touch of booze. Love to see this in cans as well.

473ml can - the name, like the previous incarnation, is a play on the postal code of the brewery's location, which has obviously changed.
This beer pours a mostly clear, medium golden yellow colour, with three chubby fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly off-white head, which leaves some decent layered frilly lace around the glass as it slowly seeps away.
It smells of dank pine resin, bready and doughy cereal malt, some muddled domestic citrus rind, a hint of stoney flintiness, and more leafy, weedy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy caramel malt, mild earthy yeasty notes, still mixed and matched generic citrus peel, some damp minerality, and more leafy, piney, and musky floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-coating frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and generally smooth, with perhaps a bit of hop acridity maybe not making nice with the locals here, as such. It finishes trending dry, the hops increasing their stranglehold.
Overall - yup, this is one big-ass hoppy brew, and not only because of all the bunnies on the label, which I prefer much more to that other 'beer' that employs a rabbit theme. And I don't even have to look for them, they're all over the place, drinking what I hope is beer, in a park near downtown Calgary. Anyways, I digress, and reiterate - great stuff!
