This dark German lager beer has a deep reddish-brown to black color with a mild roasted malt character without the bitterness commonly associated with other dark beers. It has a moderate body that enhances the malt flavor and aroma with low levels of sweetness. Hop character is low but perceptible with no fruity esters.
