A - Poured from the cask a cloudy, copper color with a one-finger, fluffy, khaki colored head of foam. It left sticky, rings of lace on the glass.
S - It smelled of flaked rye malt and floral notes. There was a touch of citrus.
T - Good malty sweetness with a touch of rye bread. It had a spicy, piney bitterness with notes of orange peel.
M - It was crisp, sharp and very smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This was very tasty on cask. I'd like to try the regular version but that wasn't available during my visit.

Pours a clear copper color with a thin but creamy white head. The highly carbonated brew puts out a very light aroma of piney hops. The flavor, however explodes with a somewhat tart piney hop bitterness. Not quite in full balance but very smooth with a mild body. The hop flavor fades nicely through the finish but the tartness remains.

picked up a growler this evening. poured into an imperial pint glass. clear amber with a thick off white head. some lacing.
fruity hop nose. malt coming through in the background. no off odors.
hop bitterness with plenty of malt presence. dry bitter hop aftertaste. pretty well balanced for style.
mid body. good carbonation. i like this beer. i could use a little more hops for an ipa. i will continue to drink this beer from destihl.

Served in to an imperial pint glass.
The Baldock IPA poured a deep red/amber tone with a creamy head of foam. There was a bit of intricate lace around the edges, and a moderate level of carbonation visible.
Aroma was weakly grassy, mellow for an IPA, malt was more present than hops.
It had a floral hop taste, with lightly sweet pale malts that were a touch papery. Bitterness was at a medium level, and lingered into the dry finish. Overall pretty easy to drink, probably the best of the standard lineup.
