A- Pours like a swamp monster with leeks, skin flakes and all sorts of chunky looking things floating around and a hazy yellow body. The crown is rather puffy and peaks at about half an inch high. Really just a few small spots of lacing here and there.
S- Hops and apricots without really any suggestion of the tart part to be found here. Apricots, general stone fruits, mango, bubble gum, dankness and some citrus and when it warms the lightest hint of lactic fermentation possible.
T- Definitely shifts gears just a bit with a very, very light tartness joining in with the hop driven flavor profile making the citrus hops come off a bit zestier and the rest a bit less juicy sweet. Apricot, tart underripe stone fruit, grapefruit, tangerine, dank herbs, mint, lemons and some lactic acid as well as whole grains, bread and crackery hints. Fruity and hop driven for sure.
MF- Very creamy light body with a spritzy but padded high end carbonation. Citrus hop bitters and tartness in the finish.
Light tartness with nice stone fruit and citrus hops as well as the real apricot itself. Went down real fast and finds itself a nice balance along the way. No surprise with these two brewers.
