Two twelve ounce cans opened and emptied into a clear glass liter mug produced no head. The color of the liquid is like a dark blush wine, bright and on the clear side. There's a faint sour berry smell. To taste, it's tart and mildly sour. It's not flavorful. At first, you wouldn't know there was lactose in it unless you read the label. That's good and bad. The good is the sparkling body doesn't seem to be affected. The bad is a body that's still too light and a diminishing of the berry flavor. The carbonation sustains, making this refreshing, if not tasteful. More berry taste probably would have helped the slightly milky finish.

I'm not sure what happened to this one, Destihl has really good sours this one fall a bit short, looks pretty enough with it's pale purple hue and thin white cap. Aroma is quite subdued, faint hints of blue/blackberry fruit skins, some sour lactic notes as well, flavor is equally weak with a tart fruit skin prickle taking the forefront, pear and some blueberry notes, not much else, hard to pin down anything, feel is a bit thin and watery with moderate to decent carbonation, overall not a bad beer but definitely the low man on the totem pole in the sour series

Poured from a can. Pinkish in color with a foamy white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of berry and you can tell it's a sour from the smell. Taste follows the smell. Good.

Aroma is blackberries/berries, earthy malts/grainy. The flavor is complex berries, malts/grains, fruit and a mildly sweet/tart/hint of acidic finish.

It seems like no matter what, I always end up coming back for more in this series. As far as affordable sours go, it's a great lineup, and I'm sure this one will be no different
Pours a cloudy deep ruby red with a finger of pink tinted white head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose is filled with fruity aromas of jammy blackberry, tart blueberry, green apple, strawberry, lemon, with a touch of crisp wheat
The taste is more of the same, starting off with muted strawberry, tart raspberry, and lemon. The swallow both darkens and brightens the flavor profile, trending more tart, but the darker berries like blueberry and blackberry come out as well, as well as notes of plum, lime, and a hint of salt. Very fruity and flavorful
A light medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation for a straight up refreshing beer. Finishes a bit sticky like the rest of the series, but never really drags down the feel
This was probably one of the better entries in this series. It seems as if it's retired for now, but I hope they continue to brew it, as it's a good value for a session sour

Amber to ruby hued in color. There’s a fingernail of pinkish white around the rim. I smell blackberry and blueberry. I’m tasting blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry. The mouth is moderately carbonated, dry, and crisp.
