This sour ale is brewed with blueberry puree, vanilla, cinnamon flavor & lactose, creating a beer with a vibrant purple color, sweetness & spice reminiscent of the flavors in the classic dessert! Cheers!

Poured a pink grapefruit-colored hue with minimal head and quick-dying lace. The aroma is sour and sharp with hints of cinnamon. Smooth, a little lactic, sharp, slightly sour, has some blueberry and vanilla notes but they are overpowered a little by cinnamon and beer finishes with a crisp sourness and slight kick.

It's always nice to see what kinda new things Destihl is cooking up in this series. Not content with just straight up blueberry, they went ahead and made it pastry with blueberry crumble. Hopefully it shows some restraint in the sweetness. Let's dive in
Pours a clear reddish purple with 2 fingers of pink tinted white head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The nose doesn't seem to lean too far in any direction on the sweet/tart spectrum. I'm picking up on aromas of tart blueberry. lemon juice, cinnamon, doughy malt, vanilla, light brown sugar, and red grape
The balance in taste is actually very nice, constantly jumping between flavor profiles. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting tart blueberry, lemon juice, biscuity malt, sea salt, brown sugar, and light vanilla. The swallow brings notes of jammy blueberry, earthy cinnamon, brown sugar, lemon juice, graham cracker, vanilla, and light honey
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp and sharp beer. Finishes mostly dry with a balanced sweetness
This is solid stuff. Goes down ridiculously easy and never falls out of balance

Two twelve ounce cans now emptied into a clear glass liter mug. The brew is a ruby-violet color, without any head. It's reasonably bright and significantly opaque. It's aroma is sour, a little yeasty sour and has berry and vanilla hints. This actually does taste like a blueberry crumb muffin, just a little more tart. Although it is barely sour, points must be awarded for nailing the objective taste. The lactose helps make it seem a little pastry-like and the cinnamon flavoring helps to that end, too. The body, no doubt also assisted by the lactose, is more than ample for a wild sour. This would have to be a guilty pleasure for a lover of wild sours, because it's flavored well past the point of it drinking like one. A milkshake wild sour? Nonetheless, this creates a similar taste to its intention and it's pretty enjoyable to put down the gullet. The moderate sweetness and generous carbonation contribute to make this drink like a specialty soda, with a mostly hidden alcohol inclusion. This is another novelty brew that traditionalists would probably be better to avoid.

Pours an effervescent Chablis/pink color with a thumb+ of fast falling light pink head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: Loads of blueberries & vanilla
T: Tart & sweet blueberry, vanilla, dryness & a touch of lemon up front. Tart lemon & blueberry as this warms, vanilla is pushed to the edges, plus a little salt & cinnamon. Finishes with blueberries, lemon ( both skewing tart ), salt & vanilla
MF: Light/medium body
Solid sour, was hoping for a more pronounced sweet/sour contrast, pretty easy to drink
