12 oz. can, canned 10/17/23, a month old today. Another new sour creation from DESTIHL, with who i am generally impressed with..
A: Clear fizzy yellow color, small wispy white head that audibly sizzles away.
S: Kettle sour, lactic tartness, bacterial elements, waves of coconut.
T: Yum, super tart & sour. Citric and acidic, the pineapple / passionfruit flavors are noticeable, but the bacterial yeasty flavors and the fleshy coconut flavors really overwhelm. I'm always slightly disappointed by the addition of coconut to any mix, as it always seems so overpowering, and forward.
F: Light-bodied, easy-drinking, fluid. Good carb, and excellent level of lip-puckering sour. Love it.
Overall, strip out the coconut for me, and this one is a real winner.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. Pours yellow orange with a small white head. Smells of sour fruit and berries. Tastes of sour strawberries and other fruit, nice grain backbone. Beer is light bodied and easy drinking, good carbonation. Overall, a very good beer.

Doing this one as part of a little Destihl blind horizontal with my friend including Dragonfruit Mango and Dill Pickle, which will make my friend throw up so that should be funny. Let’s get into it
Pours a cloudy pale yellow with a finger of white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
This one is certainly tropical in the nose. I’m picking up on aromas of tart pineapple, passionfruit, lemon juice, coconut milk, mango skin, and a touch of cracker
Up front it’s a bit bland, but it really explodes on the back end. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting zesty guava, pineapple juice, mango skin, and light lemon zest. The swallow brings notes of tart pineapple, passionfruit, green apple, lemon juice, mango skin, and crackery malt
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp and tart beer. Finishes mostly dry and sour
It’s certainly a solid beer, Destihl does well with this series and this one is no exception. A nice tropical treat
