I got a couple of cans of this beer from a mixed 12pck that I bought from my local meijer store. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had bright tropical fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with fresh pineapple and tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

This IPA presents itself with an ethereal, cloudy yellow hue that's almost luminous. Upon the first sniff, it defies typical IPA expectations; instead of the standard hoppy or citrusy aroma, you get a scent reminiscent of pure, fresh pineapple juice.
As for the flavor profile, it leans on the milder side for an IPA, which could be a plus or a minus, depending on your personal taste. Don't be fooled, though—the 7% ABV ensures that this is not lightweight. It makes up for what it lacks in strong pine or hop notes with a subtler complexity.

The can art is particularly eye-catching, adding an aesthetic appeal that I find irresistible. It's definitely a piece I'll be adding to my display shelf.

Pale yellow in color with a hazy complexion. There’s a half inch of creamy eggshell white on top. The aroma is of faint lime and lemon hops. I’m tasting faint lemon and lime hops. The mouth is very light and quaffable.

Pours a pale, hazy yellow, small white head, o noticeable lacing. Nose gets tropical fruit, mango, papaya, some citrus. The buds agree. Not my favorite from Destihl.

Pours a very cloudy yellow color with a thin foamy head. Head retention is mild as is lacing. Juicy citrus and tropical aromas. Juicy citrus up front on the taste with a more bitter resinous flavor at the end. Almost like tobacco with a peppery aftertaste. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

A somewhat dated version (early May and this is Oct). I like the can art and the series in general.
Very light color and hazy body. Small but firm white head. Fruit and mix hop aroma with some part light grassy and a brief whiff of tart or sour. This shows up later too in the taste, but it's not too strong.
Nice hop flavors that are not overpowering and blend nicely overall. Some fruit qualities and landing with a soft lingering bitterness on an extended finish.
Moderate body with a little fullness and very soft.
Thanks Anne.

Poured from pint can into proper pint glass.
A: Pours a slightly hazy lemon yellow hue with 1/2 inch bubbly/fizzy white head that quickly dissipated.
S: Lemon and soft grapefruit with some mango and tangerine.
T: Sweet lemon, tangerine, sweet grapefruit, and some funky soft pine.
M: Medium body. Soft and creamy feel. Soft citrus sweetness.
D: Decent example of style with a nice mouthfeel.

not quite as epic to me as tour bus was, but really good, i guess i never full appreciated how great these guys are with hops, or maybe they have recently improved, but this was lovely. several strains in it, but its el dorado driven to me, or el dorado and citra together, an awesome combo that often gets more out of each than they can give alone. this is real pale, frosted looking straw colored with an average height but airy white head from the tap. the nose is ripe cantaloupe, clean meyer lemon and lemon candy, and a soft earthy wheaty base, it seems no or low bitterness and smells bright but almost delicate, softer for an ipa, especially at this strength. there is some grain body to this but not a ton of malt flavor, could be unmalted wheat in it, and it is very dry which i love in these hazy ones, lets the hop put an exclamation mark on the finish. more lemon for sure, watermelon rind, and just a little peppery thing and some pine sap coming through, not quite getting northwestern and intense, this is still modern and mild and dry hoppy, but there is a little oomph to it that wasnt really there in the nose. this has a clean tightness to it that i really like, and even if the hops are familiar in the flavor, this seems better proportioned and dosed than beers employing similar ingredients. lots to like about this one, glad to have these guys selling beer in idaho now, ive been impressed with all the recent ones i have encountered!

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (less than 5% clarity), pale orange/yellow color with a strong white head. SRM of 5-6. (4.25)

Aroma: Moderate to strong aromas of orange, pineapple, citrus rind. Followed by some guava and papaya. Some citrus rind off the finish. (4.00)

Flavor: Strong flavors of lemon and grapefruit citrus, citrus rind, pineapple. Then hints of tropical guava and peach. Finishes with more lemon citrus rind and orange juice. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-bodied. Lower carbonation. A slightly sweet, yet watery mouthfeel. Slight hop burn. (3.50)

Compared to Junkyard Bad Larry 7/6/22: Pours a lighter color, milder aromas. More orange juice and orange rind. Less papaya, and lemon citrus flower.

Overall: A pretty decent NEIPA here. This one shows the Citra and El Dorado hops well giving an orange and lemon citrus, rind, and orange juice flavor. A little hop burn and the mouthfeel lacks the creaminess I was hoping for. Maybe some of the hop burn is from the DDH. Still, drinks well. (Rating: 3.97)
