Pours black with a thin layer of foam. The aroma is whiskey, cinnamon and cardamom with clove not being far behind. It is an unusual aroma. Taste is rye whiskey front and center, with cinnamon and cardamom very much present. The mouthfeel is quite heavy with taste lingering for quite some time. Quite a different take on a barrel aged brew. Worth a try with this series from Destihl.
