Our Deadhead IPA Series melds the alluring vibe of our favorite music with unbounded takes on the hoppy beers we love to drink, unleashing a whole new groove. Our Strangest of Hazes Imperial IPA features 2 row malt, flaked oats & wheat with a duet of HBC 586 & Idaho 7 hops, creating a smooth ensemble with notes evocative of mango, guava, lychee and zesty tangerine.

cool one from the deadhead series, one of the better imperial hazy types ive had in awhile, no problem at all in a pint glass, could have ripped three of them, lovely fruitiness and freshness here, modern and not overdone, drinkable as they come at this strength, delicious. krush and idaho 7 hops, oats and wheat, all the makings of a fine hazy, but there is some technique in this too, high hop saturation without any burn, greenness, or even really bitterness, its juicy without being clying, smooth without being heavy or full of starch, and on the whole, its super dialed and bright, love krush, and its best is on display here from red berries and sweet orange in the nose to coconut and lemongrass and ripe melon in the flavor, borderline umbrella drink over here. idaho 7 stays away from its onion split personality, and instead is complimentary with meyer lemon and herbal qualities that round this out nicely. the beer is off dry and the grain is uplifting, lighter medium body for the style and strength, earthy and balancing. some oils to the hops, tangerine for sure as it warms, kiwi, nectarine, a veritable fruit cocktail, summery and alive, just awesome, and the aftertaste is great too, white wine nuance and a little floral thing. killer hop profile and the rest of this is well built around it. i have been up on down on these guys over the years, but this series of ipa types has been fantastic, and this is one of the best of them!
