This brew pours a clear straw color and boasts an aromatic blend of tangerine, grapefruit, and a hint of passionfruit from Citra and Mosaic hops, rounded out by a piney note from Chinook. It's full-bodied with a crisp, dank, and pithy finish that won't overwhelm your palate.

Year-round release available in 19.2 oz. cans.

I got this one from a mixed six pack from the grocery store. I'm a fan of the Grateful Dead, so I like the theme. The beer itself pours as a honey-colored lightly hazy liquid. The head is medium-sized, soapy, and white. Pine and earthy scents dominate the aroma, although a hint of fruit sits behind these smells. The taste is balanced (maybe tilted a little dry), with a sharp hop bitterness. Flavorful and lingering hop finish. The 9% ABV isn't immediately notable until the beer warms a little. Overall very nice.

Canned almost 4 months ago

Pours an effervescent & slightly chill-hazed gold with 2 fingers of fluffy ivory colored head. Stays effervescent, drops bright. Stellar lacing & very good head retention

S: Bready, lemony notes, probably the one aspect of this hindered by age. Cakeyness once warmed up

T: Bready, grassy, some tangerine & lime up front. Pine surfaces once this beer warms up along with cakey dryness/sweetness, grapefruit. Finishes pretty piney, a little dry, but cakey notes & grapefruit too

MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation, very good balance for the style

Not bad considering the age, plenty drinkable, would pull the trigger on this again if fresher & maybe even if not

This beer is a definite failure. It has a strong taste of onions and not much body. Sure it has a juicy pine flavor and hops bite; tastes like onion damn. Want to challenge this review? Do side by side shots of this beer next to Stone IPA.

12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson, SC ($2.19).

This DIPA has an exceptionally durable white head. The aroma is very fruity with a subtle dankness. The flavor is more harmonious while retaining the fruity effect.

Picked up a single nineteen ounce can at Total Wine in Braintree, Massachusetts for about four dollars. My first brew from these guys. Canned on date of 9/23/24. Decent.

From a 19.2oz stovepipe:

Appearance: Clear gold, big head.

Smell: Mild citrus aroma.

Taste: Moderate sweetness to start, then a mix of semi-sweet citrus flavors. Medium body, lighter than expected for a DIPA. Not too bitter, has a little metallic twinge at the end.

Overall: A west coat styled stovepipe, it's on the sweeter side but less sweet than the hazies. Pretty good, only detraction was the weird metal note in the finish.

19.2oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of grapefruit, orange, guava and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.
