Besides this tap room being waaaaaaaaay farther out than I expected, it's a good place. Perhaps smaller than anything should be on the West Side, where I assume real estate is cheaper than Paris Hilton's fragrance, but the upside is that this provides a bit of intimacy.
It's Marble, so you can expect some good beers on tap, although I found this didn't have the specials and seasonals that the downtown pub or the Santa Fe tap room have. I'm not sure if it was the night I visited or if this place never gets them, but that would be a real bummer if all the West Siders were continuously deprived of their best beers.
In any case, the Double IPA and the IPA are always a sound choice. What you get are beers with a strong piney, hoppy nose, a similar taste profile, but a smoothness that doesn't have you choking on bitterness. Both are great beers. I also enjoy their pilsner, a fine nod to the European style with its crispness and easy-drinking. The stout is good too, though I much prefer their Imperial or the Americano stout with the heavy coffee presence.
Overall, West Siders, consider yourselves blessed. Good craft beer is close to home.
