I am trying this beer at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear rich amber with off white head that is leaving some lace . The scent had caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle caramel malt base with a sharp slightly bitter finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a decent beer.

Taste: semi sweet caramel malt, mellow, earthy, dark fruit notes. Same with the nose. Mahogany color, mostly clear, with delicate lace and head. Medium to med/light body. Thinner than I would wish.

For an amber ale, this is not what I'm looking for. It has a normal amber body I'd say, not sure which darker malts were used, whether it was chocolate or special b, but you could taste it; it's too dark in the glass for my taste. Faint smell of that malt also.

Pours a dark red its a thin off-white head. A wonderful, full smell for a red. Smells a ot like some Scottish ales ith much malt. The tast is a sweeter red with ore grassy and barley than malt. Nicer in the artertaste. Quite thin mouthfeel. I taste a very slight coffee as well.

First bottled Lena beer I've seen. Been pretty skeptical about all the fake reviews before they opened, the smell of desperation was thick.
Pours into a dimpled mug with rapidly disintegrating foam, it retains a thin tan skim around the edges. Nice dark reddish Amber color. Light toasty malt aroma with caramelized sugars.
Tastes much the same, light toasty malt and caramelized sugars, odd notes from the yeast, hard to describe. Musty, earthy. Taste flashes by with little left to consider.
Watery as hell. Thin and flabby, not a good look. Needs work in the body department, it brings it way down. Overall not a repeat buy. The label looks awfully close to those dumb "Ass Kisser" beer labels.
