22oz bottle, no date. Pours transparent amber with a huge, nearly overflowing tan head. Smells of honey and sweet malt with some subtle spice; very sweet. The taste follows with some lemon sourness followed by sweet malt, earthy hops, honey, and spice. Lower intensity but hides the alcohol well enough. Sweet and mildly sour/dry finish. High carbonation and somewhat thin body. Overall, it's all over the place and doesn't fit the style well. Try another Scotch Ale on the shelf.

Aroma is fruit/berries, malts and mild caramel. The flavor is earthy malts, fruit/berries, good carbonation and a mix of tart and sweet in the finish.
