Tractor Brewing Company - Wells Park

i had a nice lazy afternoon visit into here. i find it interesting that so many breweries in town here have multiple locations, this must be a a result of relaxed legislation on this sort of thing, as well as the sprawl of the city, we just dont see this kind of thing in other parts of the country. i liked the vibe in here, beaming with early evening sunshine through high garage door type windows, casting long shadows on the extended bar and taproom, which can comfortably seat a fair few thirsty patrons. i enjoyed two beers in here, a bourbon barrel aged stout, as well as a delicious coffee stout on nitro, i was impressed with both of them, especially the coffee stout, really creamy and buzzy, smooth and flavorful, fresh and super well made. they had some tasty bar snacks in here too, which is always a plus after a long day of brewery touring. service was good in here, and i enjoyed the mellow and relaxed atmosphere of the place, a mix of casual beer drinkers and some very beery folks hanging out, conversations echo a bit in here. i think its neat this little local area can support so many beers, and its quite obvious that the amount of them have increased the rate of innovation and had upward pressure on quality. these were some of the technically better beers i had in town, and i would gladly come back here and drink through more of their beer list! check it out if you get the chance!

 

 

The IPA's all tasted like water. There were a LOT of flies inside. We liked the Wells Park atmosphere and decore but the beer was not very good.

 

 

 

 

Brewery and taproom located in industrial area, but very accessible. Ample room inside and out on patio. Food truck available. Décor is industrial, plenty of taps/

Solid spot but avoid the berliner. Everything else was good.
