TangeRica is a full-bodied wheat IPA bursting with tangerine and citrus hop flavors. Notes of citron blossom, grapefruit peel, orange and lemongrass radiate the senses, while a wheat-heavy malt bill and subtle hop bitterness round out the experience.

Appearance: orange in color with a 1" head that slowly falls. Some light lace develops.
Smell: light orange and some floral tones.
Taste: wheat base with some orange, lemon zest, a hint of grapefruit, and a floral bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp throughout with some dryness late.
Overall: a decent wheat IPA that has enough citrus to keep it interesting.

On tap at the brewery. Light orange with one finger fluffy white head. Floral and citric, delivers on the tangerine and wheat-backed IPA, in the vein of a tangerine CitruSinensis.

12 oz. can. Orange body and a little haze. Big white head. Smells of tangerine, some wheat, and a little grapefruit. Tastes of all tangerine up front. Grainy backbone. A little bit of sweet juiciness in the back end. Mild grapefruit bitterness. Medium body. Very drinkable. Clean with a nice tangerine profile.

my first beer from concrete beach, a wheat based ipa loaded with hops and tangerine, a very tasty offering, and a beer drinkers fruit beer, summer beer, session beer, whatever, its very flavorful, somewhat fuller bodied, and hoppy before anything else. i was impressed with how much better this was than i expected it to be, and how distinct it is from so many other almost throwaway florida fruited beers. some haze to this as to be expected, and a good inch or more of lasting thick foam, even the heat and humidity acting on my plastic cup dont break the head down much. great nose here, juicy and bitter hops alike, ipa first, but a cool sweetness is there, and a very fresh orange profile that sure screams florida pretty loudly at me. the first sip is a palate coating refreshing experience, i appreciate the wheat and the body it adds right away. there is a floral almost perfume-like kind of belgian element to this, must be the tangerine, but it makes the malt more flavorful too, not over flavored, but enough to set it apart. all that is over though about midway through it, where it reverts back to what it smells like, and what it really is at its core, a well hopped india pale ale. i get what i perceive to be simcoe, leafy, grapefruity, and bitter, and then something more like a citra as well, with lemon and a softer side. its well balanced and honestly really impressive. i generally shy away of these type of vacationer beers, but this one was really a nice surprise! must be newer, as it doesnt have much attention here yet...
