Beautiful, dark grapefruit color, with a very slight head (after the keg was tapped, several glasses of foam were poured off, but the glass I was served had a very slight head).
Smells sweet and sour with a strong undercurrent of belgian saison yeast. Smells like it should be more sour than it ultimately ended up being.
Ended up being very drinkable and subtly sour - definite blackberry there, but I'm not familiar enough with juniper to detect it. A touch of sweet, with some great saison qualities. Very nice.
