A really good beer that I would love to get my hands on again. It resembles a lot of other NEIPAs, but it has an extremely smooth mouthfeel and an excellent finish.

Poured from a 12oz can. No canning date, but there's a "best by 5/4/18" sticker on the six pack.

Everyone's getting in on the haze craze, and this appears to be Forgotten Boardwalk's take on the NEIPA. This is super-hazy, essentially opaque, and has an orange hue. Lace rings wrap around the glass. Floral and grassy aroma with suggestions of mango and tangerine. Not particularly pungent or eye-opening for an IPA, though.

In the flavor department, there are notes of bitter grapefruit and cantaloupe. True to the NEIPA style, this isn't exceedingly bitter. It's fairly dry, though, so even though the IBU number may be low, there's still a fair amount of perceived bitterness. Mouthfeel is sudsy and smooth, very enjoyable. This is a very good, though not mind-blowing, take on the New England / Hazy/ Whatever IPA phenomenon.

Outstanding new DIPA from Boardwalk. Happy to add to BA. Found at Wegman's built a 6 for 10.99.
a) Cloudy, particulate matter in a dark amber body, topped by a 1 finger head that lasts a bit, but lace little.
s) Too faint, but besides the pineapple and citrus over fresh baked crusty french bread, there's a mineral salt bath too,
t) The parts get better on the tongue, ,which is a mineral bath of pineapple and citrus over malty crusty bread. Excellent food beer (tonight Maine Bay Scallops and mini crab cakes from Lusty Lobster Highlands)
f) Juicy, pear juice nectar like, low carb, mid weight, clean finish, minerally to the end.
o) NJ has great water and beaches so becomes a great place for "authentic underdog" beers.
