Poured on tap at the grand opening party
Look: Hazy pale with a thick white head, decent carbonation. Head dissipates with light lacing.
Smell: Some fruity aromas especially pear are detectable amongst a strong smell of wheat malts, strong citrus and floral hops and a slight spiciness creep in as well.
Taste: Very smooth, slightly sweet citrus and pear meld well with the bready wheat malts. Good hop flavor and bitterness. Little bit of spice at the end. Very well balanced and surprisingly complex.
Mouthfeel: Medium body and carbonation with a dry chalky finish.
Overall: Very well balanced brew. Definitely one of the best White IPA's I've had. All the flavors jump without being overwhelming. Coriander, spices and citrus. Pack the cooler and sit on the porch and enjoy.
