On tap at Capital Brewery.
Golden Amber in the glass with a small white head that fades to the sides, leaving a tiny bit of skim.
Smells lightly fruity, apples, pears and peaches mainly. Spicy aromas apear as well mixed in with the main maltiness of the beer. Fairly sweet smelling, hard to get a good grasp outdoors.
Tastes sweet initially with light fruity esters but soon bitters up. Leaves the mouth feeling dry with spice and mild fruits. Hopping is evident after swallowing and is most likely related to the spiciness of the beer.
Very crisp with medium carbonation. Leaves your mouth feeling bitter and refreshed. If I could get this in 6-packs I would, it makes for a great refreshing beer, best served outdoors.
I haven't seen this beer anywhere else and was happy to try is out at the brewery.
