Appearance - Medium amber-gold. Clear and bubbly. Short soapy white head that quickly dissipates into a thin film.
Smell - Moderately strong corny pale malt.
Taste - Sweet pale malt. A touch of lemony or grapefruity hops. Dry finish.
Mouthfeel - Light and crisp.
Overall - Inoffensive and quenching if not exceptional. Doesn't strike me as the kind of beer an snowy owl (this should read great gray owl) would drink.

Clear pale gold, good initial head that leaves nice lacing.
Pretty standard lager smell, sweet cereal grains.
Malty and sweet, cheerios, faint green apple, noble hops.
Very crisp and smooth mouthfeel.
This was nicely drinkable. Sweet and balanced. Capital has a way with lagers.
For those that don't know the backstory, this was brewed in honor of a Great Gray Owl (a rare northern species) that strayed south right onto the brewery property. Furthermore, a portion of proceeds apparently go to the Great Wisconsin Birdathon (wibirdathon dot org) to advance bird and wildlife conservation. Strix approves.
