Solid black with a light tan, soft blanket.
Smell is spicy bourbon, oak, yeast, chocolate, with some herbs in the background. As it warms, just straight up whiskey dominates.
Again in taste it seems quite like a freshly poured and spicy bourbon--a nice bourbon--with oak, raisin bread, and charred malt. This tastes almost note for note like a glass of Maker's Mark, maybe poured into some Barq's Root Beer.
It's hot. Very hot--too much so. I actually think whatever Belgian element is here amplifies the boozy heat.

A - Pitch black with a thin toffee creamy colored head, thick toffee colored lacing.
S - Bourbon, oak, chocolate, light mint.
T - Very bourbon forward, oak, and boozy.
M - Medium body.
O - Would score this one higher but the bourbon dominates the entire beer.
