Dark brown with a dark tan head.
I was warned upon serving that it would be best to let it warm, and they were right. I had to order another brew to give it time as the aromas and flavors really were muted by the cold temperature.
Overall, even as it warmed, it only gives off lightly roasted elements, with some smoke and light chocolate notes.
Count is very dry for a stout, even chalky. I'm not sure if that is the Bolivian rose salt Butcher listed as an ingredient to this "Belgian salted chocolate stout." Regardless, there is not a lot of salt flavor contributed to this stout.
